Accessibility
Last updated: [Business to confirm]
Wine is for everyone, and so is this site. We want people to be able to read it, move through it and get in touch, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
What we have built in
The measures below are part of how this site is put together:
- Semantic HTML with landmarks and a clear heading order on every page.
- Full keyboard navigation, so nothing needs a mouse to reach.
- Visible focus states, so you can always see where you are.
- Colour contrast chosen for readability against the dark theme.
- Reduced motion support, so animation eases off if your system asks for it.
- Descriptive alt text on images that carry meaning, and empty alt text on decoration.
- Labelled form fields, with errors written in plain language.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one off task. We check new pages and components as we add them and fix what we find.
[Business to confirm: whether a formal accessibility review or audit has been carried out, by whom, and how often it will be repeated.]
Known limitations
[Business to confirm: list any known issues here, for example third party embeds, video captions, or downloadable documents that are not yet accessible.]
Telling us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, we would like to hear about it. Email hello@bestwineforyou.com and tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. That detail helps our team fix the right thing.
[Business to confirm: the response time you want to offer for accessibility reports, and an alternative contact route such as a phone line.]
Another way to reach us
If a form on this site does not work for you, an email to the address above is always enough. Our team will pick it up and help.
