Before You Book.

How much does a private wine consultation cost?
Private Wine Advisory is $375. It is a 60 minute private consultation covering a taste and preference review, recommendations based on your occasion and budget, food pairing guidance where it applies, and one follow up.
Do you sell the wine you recommend?
No. Best Wine For You is an independent advisory service and does not sell alcohol. There are no winery commissions and no sponsored recommendations. Wine purchasing, delivery, venue, travel, and other third party costs may be quoted separately depending on the experience.
Do I need to know anything about wine first?
No. Tell Guy what you are eating, what you enjoy, what you want to spend and who you are sharing it with. That is enough to start.
Can Guy review my restaurant wine list?
Yes. Send your current list through Rate My Wine List and our team will come back with initial observations and what a fuller review would involve. It is an initial review to see whether we are a good fit, not a full professional audit.
Do you work with businesses?
Yes. Executive and client gifting, corporate tastings, board and leadership dinners, private wine experiences and ongoing corporate wine advisory.
